Terminals Running First Data TransArmor Point-to-Point Encryption for U.S. Rollout

NEW YORK, Jan 16, 2012 (BUSINESS WIRE) — Equinox Payments, a leading payment terminal and secure applications provider and portfolio company of The Gores Group, LLC, today announced that Rooms To Go(R), America’s number one independent furniture retailer, has begun deploying Equinox’s L5300 payment terminals equipped with Equinox Remote Key Injection software and First Data(R) TransArmor(SM) point-to-point encryption across 192 Rooms To Go stores.

The high-security payment terminals with point-to-point encryption are in place and processing thousands of transactions. The installation was completed in December 2011.
